Supermarine Spitfire Story RAF Films WW2 DVD
The Spitfire came along just in time to stop the German Luftwaffe during the battle of Britain. We just recently acquired a great copy of this film plus we added some Spitfire newsreels.
Film #1 - 1st of the Few - This is a great film created by the British Government on the story of the man, his vision to build the Spitfire, and the struggle he walked to get there. A great story and great footage. Runtime is about 113 minutes.
Film #2 - Luftwaffe Fights Back - This is a German newsreel of Germans fighting the British and eventually shooting down a Spitfire. Comes with sound, but not German narration. The BF-109 was a great match to the Spitfire. Runtime about 5 minutes.
