F-16 Fighting Falcon DVD
This DVD contains a collection of F-16 Fighting Falcon vintage films. The F-16 is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the U.S. Air Force. Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft.
Film #1 - F-16 Development - After Vietnam, the USAF needed a new air superiority fighter. Thus, the amazing F-15 Eagle came into being, but it was just too expensive. So the USAF looked for a cheaper fighter to fill its inventory and the F-16 was developed. Over 4500 units were built over the years and the F-16 is flying for many Air Forces around the world today. Runtime is about 17 minutes.
Film #2 - F-16 Thunderbirds - This is a USAF film created in 1986. Great air show footage of the F-16 Fighting Falcon as a Thunderbird. Lots of great flying action. Runtime is about 17 minutes.
Film #3 -Red Flag - A USAF Top Gun film about training F-15 and F-16 Pilots on how to fight against different types of enemy aircraft somewhere over the Nevada Desert and win. Runtime is about 10 minutes.
Film #4 -Desert Storm - In 1991, Saddam Hussein refused to surrender Kuwait and a coalition of nations removed his Iraqi Army by force. This is that story and all of the aircraft used to do the job including the F-16 and F-15. Runtime is about 37 minutes.
Film #5 -Refueling the F-16 - To carry out is missions, the F-16 needed to be refueled in flight. A Great short story and footage of the KC-10 and the KC-135 refueling the F-16. Runtime is about 7 minutes.
Film #6 -F-16XL NASA - Four short films with a runtime of about 5 minutes.
