Manchester International is Britain's busiest airport outside London, with a wide variety of carriers and aircraft types. British Airways shows their rapidly disappearing colorful tails and JMC Air, Air 2000, Monarch, British Midland and Britannia are much in evidence. AA, Delta, Continental and US Airways represent the USA and such rarities as the last aircraft painted for Air UK, Manx, some of the last BAC-111's in service, Kenya Airways and BA's last BAe ATP's , together with lots of European carriers makes for colorful and exciting plane watching.
